Common questions
- How does pricing work?
- You pick a plan based on how much active work you carry - your number of active clients and active cases. Every feature, plus unlimited staff and client accounts, is included on every plan. You're billed one flat monthly price for your plan, in GBP.
- What counts as an 'active client' or 'active case'?
- An active client is any client you haven't archived. An active case is any case that's open, or closed but kept on file; archiving a case (or removing a client) frees that allowance again. Staff and admin accounts are unlimited and never count toward your plan.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes - every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Your card is saved when you sign up but nothing is charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time before then.
- Do you charge VAT?
- No. We are not VAT-registered, so the price you see is exactly what you pay - there is no VAT added at checkout or on your invoices.
- Can I change plans later?
- Any time, from Settings → Billing. Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated); downgrades apply from your next billing date. If your current usage is above a smaller plan's limits, archive enough clients or cases to fit first.
- What happens if I reach my plan's limit?
- We'll let you know and link you straight to billing. Adding a client or case beyond your plan's allowance is blocked until you upgrade or free up space by archiving - your existing data is never affected.
- How do I view my invoices?
- Go to Settings → Billing inside your portal. Every invoice is listed there with a status badge and a PDF download link.
- What happens when I cancel?
- Your subscription ends and access is disabled. Your account data is retained for 30 days - contact us within that window to export it or reactivate - after which it is permanently and irreversibly deleted, with no backup kept.
